1. Who we are

Nordix Vault ("Nordix Vault", "we", "us", or "our") provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet traffic and hides your IP address. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, apps, and services, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

2. Our zero-log commitment

Nordix Vault operates a strict no-logs policy. We do not collect, monitor, store, or share any of the following:

• Websites you visit, services you use, or content you transmit while connected.
• The IP addresses you connect from or the IP addresses assigned to you by our servers.
• DNS queries made through the VPN tunnel.
• Connection timestamps, session duration, or bandwidth used per session.

Our VPN servers run from RAM only. Every reboot wipes all data on the server. This makes it technically impossible for us to hand over browsing data we never stored.

3. Information we do collect

To create and run your account, we collect a minimum set of data:

• Account data: your email address and an encrypted password.
• Billing data: for paid plans, our payment processor handles your card details. We only store the plan, status, and last four digits of your card.
• Diagnostic data (optional): anonymous crash reports and app performance metrics, only if you opt in.
• Support data: messages you send to support@nordvault.ai and any information you choose to include in them.

4. How we use your information

• To create, secure, and operate your Nordix Vault account.
• To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse of the service.
• To send essential service emails (account, billing, security).
• To improve the apps and infrastructure based on aggregated, anonymous metrics.
• To respond to your questions and support requests.

5. Cookies and the website

Our website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not sell personal data to advertisers, and we do not use third-party tracking cookies for behavioural advertising.

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share limited data only with trusted processors who help us run the service — for example, our payment provider, email delivery provider, and cloud infrastructure. These processors are bound by contract to handle your data securely and only on our instructions.

If we receive a legally valid request from law enforcement, we will respond honestly: because we do not log activity, we have no browsing data to provide.

7. Data retention

We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period after closure to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nordvault.ai.

9. Security

We protect your traffic with AES-256 encryption, modern protocols (WireGuard and OpenVPN), and a kill switch that blocks traffic if the tunnel drops. Account credentials are stored using salted, one-way password hashing.

10. Children

Nordix Vault is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
